The voice artist's performance is only fair- but to be just, that could be because the all the juiciest, funniest bits were removed from her script. But Sophy's cousins are in a sad state, and she's arrived just in time to save them all. All the smaller story arches, little comments, and delightful flashes of wit that make Heyer romances so wonderful have been omitted, leaving this audiobook a shadow of the real work.
